Los Altos de Jalisco is a purely agricultural region which has become one of a major agricultural production regions at the state and national areas. Currently the production of bovine milk, egg production and pork are in first place in Mexico. Thus our commitment as an institution of a higher education level is to train veterinarians according to the needs the profession and the area required.
The Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics Degree is offered since 2002 in order to cover a yearning of the people of this area and promote the possibility of studying in an area that has high production systems modernization, as well as small and medium producers who require highly trained professionals.
