The major of Medical and Obstetrician Doctor was opened in Centro Universitario de los Altos in 2002 because of a necessity to have professional physicians in the South Altos Region. And as a response to expectations of professional success of people from this community.
The pronouncement of this major was proposed based in the study called “Social Context and Educational Demand in Los Altos of Jalisco”.
